1. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series to launch on 7 August - Just a few hours from now, the Note 10 series will be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York. The event is scheduled to kick off at 4.00 pm ET on 7 August, which translates to 1.30 am on 8 August for India. Check your local time to tune in to the event here, If you are a fan, these intervening few hours feel much longer. And so, ahead of the official launch, here's a wrap of all the design, specifications and pricing leaks that we have come across about the Note series so far.


2. Huawei Y9 Prime to go on sale today at 12.00 pm - As a part of the Amazon Freedom Sale, Huawei Y9 Prime will be available for purchase to the Amazon Prime members today from 12.00 pm onwards. As for the rest of the buyers, they can buy it from Amazon from 8 August midnight. As for the offline stores like Croma, Poorvika, and others, the smartphone will be available for purchase from 12 August onwards.


3. Realme X to go on sale today at 12 pm - If you are out there today thinking about buying a smartphone, today is a good day for you. If you are an Amazon Prime member, the Freedom Sale kicks off today, for Flipkart Plus users the National Shopping Days starts today as well. Vivo is launching the new Vivo S1 in India at 5.00 pm today, which will also be available for purchase after launch. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 will be going up on its first sale today. Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series will be unveiled tonight in New York as well. However, if your heart is stuck on Realme X, it's your lucky day, because the smartphone will also be available for purchase starting 12 pm today on Flipkart and Realme's own website.


4. Vivo S1 to launch today at 5.00 pm in India - Vivo is all set to debut its Vivo S1 smartphone in India today. It was launched in China last month followed by Indonesia and now India. Vivo S1 is expected to be priced in the sub-Rs 15,000 price segment. It was launched in Indonesia at IDR 35,99,000 (Rs 17,700 approx), There were a few key differences between the global and the Indonesia variant of the device. The differences were with respect to the battery, processor, and display.


5. Xiaomi launches Mi Power Bank 2i at a starting price of Rs 899 in India - Xiaomi has today launched a new and updated range of power banks — the Mi Power Bank 2i in India and they are now available for purchase at mi.com. The 10,000 mAh Mi power bank is available in three colors— black, blue, and red, whereas 20,000 mAh is only available in black color.

1. Raspberry Pi 4 announced - The Raspberry Pi was one of the greatest things to happen to the gadget space in years. The concept gets no simpler than an ARM-based computer, but the amazing flexibility it provides, as well as its compact size (no bigger than a credit card), has managed to make it the go-to choice for the guts of different projects in many different areas. We’ve seen it run a handful of operating systems so far and be the center front of several projects, but the project was already due for an update. Said update is already here. The Raspberry Pi 4, the next generation of the Pi, has now been announced.


2. Huawei Mate 30 - Huawei is all set to launch its Mate 30 series soon, in fact, according to a tipster, Teme, it will be unveiled on 22 September this year. Huawei Mate 30 Lite is also expected to be launched along with Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Previously, there were many leaks that revealed several key specs of Huawei Mate 30 Pro and now it is Huawei Mate 30 Lite's turn.


3. Apple releases first iOS 13 - At this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple announced the next iteration of its mobile operating system, iOS 13. The Cupertino-based company has now released the first public beta of iOS 13 so that people can try out its features and provide feedback. The iOS 13 beta program is aimed at making the next release of iOS better by letting users test-drive pre-release versions. Members of the Apple Beta Software Program can now enroll their devices to access the iOS 13 public beta and provide feedback directly to Apple using the Feedback Assistant app.


4. Honor 20 goes on sale - Honor launched its Honor 20 series of smartphones earlier this month, which consists of the Honor 20i, the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. While the Honor 20i has already been up for sale, the Honor 20 will be up for purchase today via the online shopping platform Flipkart. As for the Honor 20 Pro, there is no word yet on when it will be made available in India. The Honor 20 is a flagship phone by the company that runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC.


5. Realme is developing a phone with Samsungs 64MP sensor - Realme is developing a phone with Samsung’s Bright GW1 sensor that has a resolution of 64MP and uses the company’s ISOCELL technology to shoot images. The announcement was made by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter. The executive tweeted an image which, he claims, is taken on the handset with the sensor in question. The image mentions “64MP AI Quad Camera” suggesting four cameras on the back. Sheth also announced that this particular device would be launched in India before any other market globally.
